About CPH AIR
To strengthen cultural exchange and network between Copenhagen and international artists The City of Copenhagen has established an artist in residence in collaboration with the Factory of Art and Design. The programme is called CPH AIR.
The programme makes it possible for cultural actors in the Copenhagen cultural life to invite international artists and writers to stay and work in Denmark for a longer or shorter period of time. Cultural institutions, exhibitions spaces, galleries, press, and other cultural actors on the Copenhagen cultural scene can invite international artists through CPH AIR and very much with the intention to establish collaborations with artists during their stay in Copenhagen. Based on the application a board under the City of Copenhagen will decide the invitations of the artists. The programme is proceeded through a collaboration with the Factory of Art and Design, which takes care of the programme daily.
